² To set up a private secure server (SSL), you will need to purchase a site certificate directly from the certificate authority of your choice. We recommend GeoTrust, which you can get cheaply from EV1Servers.net. For much less money, but with support for only newer browsers, you can get a StarterSSL. Other well-known CAs include Thawte, VeriSign, and Equifax. If you just want to set up a secure interface on the cheap, we can set you up with a certificate we sign ourselves, using an alternate port to save you the cost of an individual SSL certificate and a dedicated IP address. Such a setup shouldn't be used for e-commerce, though -- just for internal secure web communication.
